Anyone that comes to the Sanctuary under the influence of drugs or alcohol will be given a refund and immediately asked to leave the premises.  


Anyone that does not listen to instructions and rules and disrupts the tour guides or the tour will be given a refund and asked to leave the premises.

IMPORTANT: No children under the height of 5 feet will be allowed near or in any wolf enclosure.  Please make sure to inform when making a reservation that you will be bringing a child that is at least 5 feet tall. (Children smaller CANNOT wait with another person, they are a distraction to the wolves and NOT ALLOWED). There are NO EXCEPTIONS on this.  Thank You.

One of the great joys of visiting Wolf Mountain Sanctuary is the Memories.....


We have these simple rules:


Your tour guides will take pictures for you.  Do not take any pictures.

ALWAYS listen to your tour guide.

Please follow our instructions.


NO VIDEOS ALLOWED - If you want a video ask your Tour Guide


NO PICTURES OF STAFF ALLOWED - unless you get permission from that staff member


You are welcome to post personal photos taken by your tour guide to social media sites.   

If you post to social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.), please tag Wolf Mountain Sanctuary, so our followers can enjoy your photos. You can click the words of these social media sites and you will be taken to ours, please like & follow our pages.

We would be happy to take photos or video of you with the wolves.


If you want a full Photo Shoot with the wolves, please schedule this when you call and ask for prices.

Wolf Mountain Sanctuary owns the rights to all images/videos taken at Wolf Mountain Sanctuary and can/will use them as they see fit.


NOTE:  You are not allowed to use any photographs, videos, drawings, or paintings in a professional manner or in a manner that brings you monetary gain without a signed contract from Wolf Mountain Sanctuary. WMS retains the right to pursue all legal actions if any person sells any items made using our wolves images.

What You Can Bring For The Wolves:


Red Meat, Frozen Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts, Turkey Necks  (must be in original packaging)

Carrots

Nature's Domain (Costco) Dog Food - Bright Blue Bag with the husky on it

Kirkland (Costco) Dog Biscuits (Lamb and Rice Formula) 

Liverwurst (Farmer John plain BLACK LABEL (no bacon or garlic flavor) - Please bring ONE package for each wolf = 10

Donations of food cannot be used in lieu of the required monetary donation. 


No "toys" will be accepted.

Weather:


It is very important to pay attention to the weather in the desert.


In the summer:  


Wear light layers.    

Sunscreen is a must! 

Dress in comfortable clothing. 

You will probably end up with paw prints or dirt on you!    

                            

In the winter:   


Dress in layers. 

The weather can range from freezing to comfortably warm.

Bring a warm coat.  It is likely you will need it!


Hats of Any Sort, Gloves & Sunglasses: 


Hats, gloves, and sunglasses are fine to wear in the common areas, but MUST NOT be worn around the wolves.   

THESE ITEMS = TREATS FOR THE WOLVES!


BRING WATER!   This is important at any time of year. We are located in the high desert. It is easy to become dehydrated quite quickly!

If you are late, you may have to wait for other on-time appointments to end before you are seen.

Required Donations:


$25 (per person) for 1-Hour Tour 


$150 (per person) for a Private VIP 1-Hour Tour with Tonya & Wolves  


($75.00 non-refundable deposit required for PRIVATE TOURS after calling to schedule) 



Sanctuary Schedule:


VISITS ARE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY - NO WALK INS
​We are open for tours from Friday through Sunday

Please call to request a tour any other days.


Hours:    10 am to 12 pm

             (last tour at 12 pm)


Miscellaneous Information


The last 1/4 mile to the Sanctuary is a dirt and rock road.  Please drive slowly!  If you have a SUV or a truck, drive that instead of a car.


DO NOT BRING YOUR PETS AND LEAVE THEM IN YOUR CAR - we will send you home.


Honk when you get to the gate and a staff member will open the gate for you to park.


If you are a professional photographer or artist, you must tell us so that you can sign an artist release.   Click here to print and have it prepared before your visit.
