Denali (Deh-Nah-Lee) (“Great One” or “Highest Mountain”) was one of two pups born in the wilds of Alaska.  

He and Takaani were rescued from the wolf-killing that was taking place in that state, both by private citizens and government agencies.

He is a beautiful wolf with a golden sand coat.  Denali’s personality is very sweet, curious, and friendly.  

Denali loves visitors.  One of the funniest things to see is Denali eating a carrot, holding it delicately as possible between his front paws. 

Besides carrots, Denali loves knuckle bones and chicken breasts.  

Denali had to have his leg removed to save him from dying because of cancer.  He is our Tripod Wolf and he is doing great!
